  1. Description of a city I would like to visit

Granada is a city that I really love!

In my opinion, it is definitely the most beautiful city in Spain and probably one of the best of the whole world.

It is a city where I would study my degree and stay there for ever. I would love to wake up every morning and the first thing I saw was the splendid Alhambra, with all those trees and spring flowers all over the huge gardens.

Its climate is optimum, not too hot during summer and quite a bit cold during winter. In winter you can even practice snow sport, as this city is nestled at the base of Sierra Nevada.

It also has two rivers: Darro and Genil.

Granada is filled with several important churches and museums, but without doubt the main attraction of the region is Alhambra, which is branded as one of the 10 wonders of the world.

Granada, the stunning city I recommend everyone to visit.

    WATCH OUT!
Practise" is the verb; while "practice" is the noun in British English whereas in American English , think it's always "practice.

  2. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been always fascinated by Germany.

The first things I learnt about this European country were stereotypes, like its damp and “awful” climate, its typical food (like sausages and beer), its serious people, etc. Sincerely, I like some of these stereotypes (like the climate or food) but even now I don’t know if they’re really true.

When I was fourteen, I started to study German in the language school, because I wasn’t admitted into English course. Before I started to learn this language, I thought that German was a harsh language; however, as soon as I started to speak it, I realized that this stereotype was entirely wrong. I’ve been learning German for two years and a half. Consequently, I learnt a lot of German History and its traditions. I know some important cities of Germany, but I’ve never visited them; that’s why I’d love to go to Germany (specially cities like Berlin, Cologne or Frankfurt).
